The Logistics Specialist is responsible for charting and assessing the routes the ship travels, using astrometric data, historical corridor information, and sensor analysis to identify hazards and points of interest ahead of the ship's path, and recommending the course best suited to operational priorities and risk.
The role also serves as the primary point of contact between Navigation and Command, ensuring route assessments and relevant findings reach the Captain and Executive Officer in time to inform mission planning and decision-making.
The Logistics Specialist reports directly to Command. |
