Goran'Ul is the squad's designated heavy weapons carrier, a role that requires as much restraint as capability. He does not fire without authorization in the Liaison's presence. Outside her presence, he follows the First's orders with complete precision. He is physically the largest member of the squad and the one outsiders look at first when they are trying to understand the threat in the room, which makes him useful for a reason that has nothing to do with his weapon.
